Bumper includes mounts that bolt both to the face of the rear sheet metal on the vehicle, and inside the unibody (frame) rail to provide extra strength. It is designed to incorporate a 2″ hitch receiver for recovery, accessories or light towing.

Did not line up at all on a 96 Cherokee; profile is wrong for the tail lights/hatch.
Receiver tube cutout is too small to fit a 2″ receiver tube.
Overall was very disappointed with these plans. especially since the front XJ winch bumper went together smoothly and fits great.

The bumper worked great and looks great only down side is as stated in the other review the receiver opening is too small and needs to be enlarged with a die grinder and the frame mounts were useless so I fabbed up a new set at work the bolt holes were tiny and not in the right locations. But a pretty solid bumper if you have a little time to make it work.
